I feel badly that the delivery for the other reviewer didn't go well, because this is really a delicious and inexpensive way to sample three great American caviars, produced sustainably and packaged with the same artistry of their Russian counterparts. It goes without saying that if your only exposure to the world of fish roe is the noxious stuff known as 'lumpfish caviar', then you are really missing out. The three caviars in this set each offer the rich, buttery, and nutty flavors characteristic of true sturgeon caviar from Caspian Sea, but are produced in an environmentally responsible way right here in the United States.
Excellent price, generous portions, and includes a big package of creme fraiche too, along with a boxed mother-of-pearl caviar spoon. It also happens to include a package of tiny blinis, but I wasn't too crazy about these - they tasted stale and oily, so I prepared toast points instead. It would be impossible for me to choose a favorite from among the three selections, and my guests said the same. Each had unique qualities and subtle shades of flavor to stand on its own. We should be exporting this treasure to the four corners of the world.

American Caviar Sampler Gift Set
Do not order as a gift, you have no control when set is delivered. Also you have no control if recepient signature is required, e.g. they will leave it at the door despite charging you $25 for shipping
