Berard Olive Wood French Pastry Spatula

A lovely spatula for pastry, especially designed with a heavy smooth long 'shovel' part. A little bit less than 9 inches long. It is made of olive wood and made the traditional way with hand turning. Since 1892 Berard has been a resource for kitchen tools and accessories using only the finest Mediterranean olive wood. Each piece is hand crafted by Artisan and no 2 pieces are exactly alike. Prized for its variations in characteristics, olive wood is naturally strong and elegant. Hand wash and dry thoroughly. A light wipe of food safe mineral oil or beeswax can be used to restore the wood to its original luster when needed.
